CLLE Sparkbrook 1* - armourers put together?

Picked up a Sparkbrook CLLE to shoot (bucket list thing) but apart from having a Motty Barrel, it has no conversion markings at all.
I’m thinking it’s local addition of the charger bridge (why?!).
Slightly disappointed it’s not a arsenal made CLLE but no biggie as I really want to shoot it anyway. I’ll try and post some pics..

I hate to be the first to say you might need better pictures in nicer light with less blur for any ID to be made. I can't tell if it has the CLLE rear sights with the knobs on either side, nor if it has the front sight protector hood like a service CLLE should.

Appears to have the correct rear leaf sight. Better pictures required please. It if was a conversion, then need to see the left side of the butt socket as that is where the markings were applied.

My guess is with a Motty barrel it is a range rifle conversion by Motty the gunsmith.

Did 'Motty' just trick them up as I see the BSA logo on the barrel or did he have choice barrels from the factory just asking.
I think it may as Bindi says a range rifle where some one has desired the charger bridge for perhaps speed shoots removing the charger bolt head & dust cover for a standard bolt head if thats a correct assumption.

Harry Motton was the sole supplier of BSA barrels in the early 1900's.

Hi All,
Yes I will post up more pics once I get it. I just snapped a few at the shop when I inspected the rifle.
It has the correct CLLE rear sight. It has the correct foresight hood.it has no CLLE marking on the left of the butt socket. No “N” stamp either.
For sure the rifle has been “accurised” by Harry Motton but my question is would he add a bridge? Maybe made for someone who uses a “territorial” rifle as a British soldier and who wanted to shoot his “old rifle”. Please be patient for the pics, the official wheels turn slowly in my neck of the woods.

It needed a bridge for snap shooting and the walk down otherwise I did not qualify as a service rifle for ammo allocation.
