    WTB: No5 mk1 bayonet

    Looking for a No5mk1 (jungle carbine bayonet). On advice from a member here I will give it a go....

    Be careful if you pursue your aim of getting a No.5 MkI bayonet with the single screw. I believe they are much rarer than the 2 screw MkII and thus sought after and expensive. Check out advice on Old Smithy;
    Bayonet Collection Presentation
    Easy to fake a MkI using a MkII, just change the wood.
    Good luck!

    No5Mk2 with 2 screws is what I am looking for, the single screw handles are too scarce and expensive... I found a couple in U.K., but I'm not sure if it's legal to ship to U.S. residence. And shipping is about 100.00..

    This is the wrong forum to post this though. The correct forum is at the very top of the start page.
