Nice looking rifle, I never had the opportunity to own one either past times or now. Now there's decidedly less to find around too.
    Regards, Jim

Nice one Ovidio I have the "S" type rear sight set up on a felt covered block of pine along with other sights as mini displays as thats what a WWII armourer said to do as it makes for interesting conversation pieces sometimes and well makes them sort of useful instead of just lanquishing in a drawer never seeing the light of day..

Yep, super looking G98, as has been mentioned, they are getting very hard to come by in good shooting order today.

Going back 10 years, WW2 K98icon's were available relatively easily in the UKicon, via the Ukrainian stores being released onto the market.

The ex Norwegianicon capture examples are still available in .30-06, but I would 'ideally' like a stock 7.92 example, WW2 German issue and not a mix master Russianicon capture piece.

At some point this year I plan on adding one to the collection, with a WW1 G98 to follow.

I guess it's a matter of waiting and and watching, as we all have to do in our hobby guys...
