Today we had our Aussie dealer here in the company.
Good guy from Melbourne.
We were chatting about getting old, how his parents are well beyond 90 and how they are, and so on.
Suddenly he grabs into his pocket and says: look, this is really great. An old friend of mine passed away and his wife gave me this paper, where he wrote some of his "incidents" in wartime.
Normal guy, no hero, no bragging at all for his whole life, but it is amazing what people like him went through...
Gentlemen, this is just simple and plain. But I found it so unbelievably.........I don't know how to express it. Not even in Italian.
And, what is even more incredible, is that you are presented this memory from an Italian guy who never knew this old Aussie pilot and stumbled into this by talking private matters with a friend..
RIP Jack Gallager, and thank you!
