How were rifles graded from DCM vs CMP icon

lowest grade to highest ie rack to collector.

DCM didn't grade them, an M1 icon

was an M1. My once-in-a-lifetime was a total junk pile, but I knew guys who got pristine rifles. The GCA icon

worked with the early CMP icon

to educate them that some were worth more than others and what to look for.
