That’s a DD tank I believe.

It’s a M4 equipped with deep wading equipment, not a M4 DD tank. It allowed the tanks to drive through water up to the top of the hull. It also entailed several hours of going over the tank and using a special waterproofing compound and duct tape to seal the hull against water.
