    Early Win and late QH

I am new to this forum and carbines in general, having collected Garands for 30 years and would like to share with all of you my two carbines. I came from Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and have managed to pick up these two carbines from descendants of the men who carried them. The Wn, serial # 1072364 was acquired from the nephew of a Captain in the USAAF, who always carried it in the cockpit of his B17 when he flew. With it I got his photograph and a flight map showing Franceicon that he took with him on missions. It is all original, from what I have been able to learn, a MW of slightly above 0 and less than one, with four brand new WIN mags and 4 boxes of unopened WIN military ammo. The QH came from the vets nephew who said his uncle was a USCG coxswain who had it with him on D Day. It still had the waxed linen (?) sleeve and cosmolineicon on its parts. MW on it is less than 0 and it also appears all correct. I also received a M1icon field manual, 1943, with two insert updates. My question concerns a leather carbine scabbard that I also received. It is marked US..JQMD...1944....ENS. All hardware is painted black, and it has all its keepers. Is this item particularly hard to find? I am thanking you all in advance for your help
