    What are they? More What's-its!

    Hi all.

    I'm taking Steve's lead except this time, I don't know what these are (or at least don't know their origin).

    I get stuff like this in auction lots and if I don't know what it is but it's sufficiently intriguing, I just hold on to it. So here's a taste:
