    Local auction.

I have been going to these local gun auctions for many years and I see a trend of fewer firearms for less money and great increase in price of ammo.

30/06 military ammo went for 50 cents to $1.00 a round. You could not buy one round but they were sold in lots of 200 to 300 rounds. Mostly loose.

Did come home with a Nazi marked ammo can (WaA A?) for a MG42 with 8mm links, Kragicon Bayo and a long tang Czechicon M1958. Saw a couple of repro Germanicon helmets go for big bucks! Somebody will be sorry....

I have also been buying ammo at auctions. But the fire arms prices seem to keep going up. I have gotten some great deals at auctions. This is my $900 SA M1A1icon. I added the scope and cheek rest.

I was also surprised at the closing price. I figured it would sell in the 1200 + range. All of the sudden the bidding stopped and it was mine. I quickly packed it up and got out of there before anyone realized what happened.
