Help with 7.62 x 25 Tokarev Headstamps
I bought a bunch of loose surplus ammo.
I have been trying to figure out these headstamps for a while and not really sure if I'm identifying them correctly, I think they are Polish from the (21) and (343) numbered Ovals. For the Oval (21) I "THINK" the 54 is the Date of manufacture, and not sure what the other number means.
I used the IAA website and a couple of others. I'm hoping someone might lend me a hand in identifying these:
54 55 (no oval marking)
55 with a OVAL with 343 inside
All these other have an OVAL with the number 21 inside it, they are:
54 2
54 5
54 6
54 7
54 8
54 10
54 12
54 14
54 15
54 17
54 18
54 20
54 21
54 25
54 26
54 29
54 33

Full marks, as far as you go. The numbers (2-33) in the right column are case lots. I have found up to 12 different case lot numbers in a single 70 round box of Polish 7.62. Great for cartridge collectors!
I have a guide of all known 7.62x25 cartridges, makers loadings, etc. PM me an email and I'll send the listing to you.
