For those of us who had a think a minute about who "Lewis Puller" was, he was usually known as "Chesty Puller"
If he was down in Nicaragua he probably served under Gen. Smedley Butler, who reported making the place safe for the United Fruit Company in his memoir "War is a Racket", IIRC.
