AIR ARMS SPRING CARBINE .22/177
Has anybody got one of these. I have HAD nothing but brilliant reports on this rifle and wondered if anybody could give an overview of theirs.
Moderately priced but with the closure of Theoben hand made rifles appears to be nothing else around thats reliable for quick reliable shooting without PCP.

Apparently very good Gil, my classic BSA airgun collection has grown from one old Mercury to five BSA's in as many weeks.
One Mercury and four Airsporters, two Mk1's, a MK2 and a rare Stutzen Carbine...
All going through the workshop when I have time....
My rat issue (all terminated now) has turned into yet another gun collection!

Lovely styling even back then taking the wood right to the muzzle!

Cheers guys, BSA made a few Stutzen center fire hunting rifles back in the day, this 1985 (only made for one year) Airsporter is a tribute to that era, a fairly rare rifle today.
You either love or hate Stutzen styling, I think they look elegant personally.

Hi Gil, I think 'Stutzen' is a generic term for a full stocked sporting rifle mate...

Are there air rifle collectors on this forum? I was never much of one, but I do have three or four odd vintage ones that I pickup here and there that I had planned to restore. I have been planing to getting rid of them as I have no interest and they are just taking up room. Been so long I can't even remember they makes and type, I remember one to be a boys air rilfe made in Russia
. Hmmm might dig them out later today.

Every gun-guy should have an air rifle. Setup a phone book down the hallway or in the basement and squeeze off a few rounds any chance you get.
Every now and then a few rounds might accidentally sneak out of my Springfield 1922 during the basement “range time.” But that’s neither here nor there
