A. O. Niedner custom Model 1903 in 22 rim fire

Found these photos from an old auction site, very interesting conversion of the Model 1903 rifle to 22 rim fire by well known gunsmith A.O. Niedner (1863-1954). This must have been one of the first conversions done to the 1903 and it was done before Niedner moved to Dowagiac Mich in 1920. Niedner lived on the east coast and started as a full time gunsmith in 1906, he was quite well known and retired in 1940.Attachment 110777Attachment 110778Attachment 110779
