Chrome SKS Bayonet on a whim..

I picked up a Chrome SKS Bayonet on a whim last week and just got around to taking a good look at it. It look's to be Russan but not quite sure. I don't have any sort of use for the bayonet, but the price was right and I have never seen a chrome one, so I guess it was an impulse buy.

Been looking for info on it but nothing so far. Interesting just the same.

I'll bet the rifle it was on was of a high polish and blue, some sort of parade or ceremonial use. Poland for instance...I've also seen Chinese honor guard rifles that are chrome end to end except the area of the bayonet latch and muzzle. I wonder if the guy wanted just the rifle and salvaged out the bayonet? They normally don't have a high polish just a matt finish chrome.
