Not wishing to teach anyone how to suck eggs..................I always found it absolutely astonishing that the number plate on Franz Ferdinands car was A 11 11 18.
With the approach of Remembrance Day across the world on the 11th November I though I would give you guys something to think about and the irony of the finish date being on the car that started it all...........the war to end all wars!!
The actual car was an Austrian-built 1910 Gräf & Stift double phaeton powered by a 32-horsepower 4-cylinder engine and owned by Count Franz von Harrach, who was an officer in the Austrian army's transport corps.Information
