Ross M10 Will not fire with closed bolt
I have a ross M10 new to me and I was looking at it trying to dry fire to check function only and it will not fire when the bolt is fully closed. When the bolt is partially closed it will release and the bolt closes. I pull the receiver out and looked at the trigger mechanism and the exterior of the bolt and everything looks correct. Its almost as if the trigger isn't moving far enough.
I need help to figure this out. Any suggestions?

Is the firing pin cocked or uncocked when the bolt is closed by hand?

I got it fixed. After some polishing and smoothing of rough edges it is fixed and works like butter. Now I need a rear sight leaf and a front sight blade and hood

For the front sight blade and hood you can get those parts from
Ross Rifle Restoration
I bought a hood and handguard from him last year and both parts were very good. Hope this helps.
