My Type 99

I keep asking for help. Figured it's about time I actually share some pics of my Type 99

It's a series 4 from made at Nagoya Arsenal. Ground Mum, Missing monopod, dustcover, cleaning rod. All number match on remaining parts (bolt, carrier, bayonet lug, safety).

Anyone have a guess on production year? Can't seem to find that online

Rifling is bright and sharp. I have not got to fire it but just finished doing up some hand loads to try soon.

Bayonet is also made at Nagoya (but did not come with rifle)

In Canada, Arisaka's are pretty rare and expensive.
