I have for sale a Springfield M1922 M122 caliber rifle. It is in the NRA Sales rifle stock. It has the original M1 style bolt that is numbered to the rifle ( i.e., has not been converted to the M2 version ). It has a side mounted scope base that has been professionally installed that , so far, has eluded identification. It is just as it left Springfield Armory in 1926 with the exception of the scope base and a Lyman front sight blade. The bore is excellent. The receiver and barrel are drilled and tapped for a long tube scope and I think the NRA sales rifles came this way from Springfield. If you do an internet search for original M1922 M1 rifles, you will find that they are very scarce since most were converted to the M2 version. This rifle is listed in the SRS records. I would like to get $1100.00 plus shipping and insurance. I am open to reasonable offers. If you need other pictures or an in hand description, I would be glad to oblige. Please note that the picture with the 1929 barrel date does not belong in this ad. It is from a 1929NM that I previously sold...not sure how it got there.Attachment 116089Attachment 116090Attachment 116091Attachment 116092Attachment 116093Attachment 116094Attachment 116095Attachment 116096Attachment 116097Attachment 116098Attachment 116099Attachment 116100Attachment 116101Attachment 116102Attachment 116103
