    Seeing how the Z designator for nitro cellulose loaded ammo was introduced long after the Mk III ball was obsolete this is a "highly speculative" interpretation of this hs.

    Suspect the seller wouldn't want to know anyway, but the headstamp to me looks more like it may be K39 VIIIZ or K39 BIIIZ. Either way, not a (broken) 303 case worth a grand.
