    Bakelite Oiler Without Knurling

I came across this Enfield bakelite oiler with no knurling on the body of the oiler and wondered how common/uncommon it is as other examples seem to be knurled with straight knurling. The cap does have light knurling to it.

Thanks for any response and information.

Our bakelite oilers never did have knurling...just some lines at top to grasp.
    Regards, Jim
