Hi All
I am from Denmarkand I want to show my 2 M1
Garand and ask a few questions.
I have Own both from about 1995-1996. Back then I dident know mutch about M1s
Except I have one when I was a soldier in the Danish Army 1980-1981. first in 2005 I dicided
to learn more and start looking for a Book. I found an Email on the internet and send a mail
To a guy I am sure you all know about: Bruce N Canfield and ask him where i coult buy his book. He asked why I want his book fore, He could see I was from Denmark and the book was mostly for collectors and therefore most interesting for US marked. I told him about my two Garands and said I want to learn more about them. I said He will be happy to send it Him self.
See Pictures.

The Whole rifle Sems in great condition with great bore and the only Maby wrong part sems to bee the windage knob. Should I change it or leave it?
Remmber both rifles are bought before the Internet where acces to parts was not easy in Europe.

This rifle was bought directly from the Danish Army in 1996. so all changes exept the lower band ( and Sling) is done in military service (US or Danish). It seems that many parts in this rifle had survived untouhed.
