It looks good to me but I can't presently compare the letter width with a known original. There are lots of un dated examples though. The font differs through time. If you have access to a blacklight, check the thread in the stitching under the blacklight. If the thread fluoresces under the blacklight, it is new, but if the thread remains dull it is most likely original.
Here's a link to show some comparison pics and a new example that has sold.
Question about marking on a WWII Boyt 43 dated M3 shoulder holster - FIREARMS - U.S. Militaria Forum
US Boyt M3 Shoulder Holster | Legacy Collectibles
Regards, Jim
A lot of the WWII holsters were undated. Somewhere I have one myself. Only it's an Enger-Kress.

Have an Enger-Kress as well, it is dated 1944.
I believe originals are expensive now, anywhere from $150 US to over $200 US. Not really found in infantry units (unless purchased or requisitioned) but used by tank crews.
This is based on my own memory
Mine somehow made it back to the States in a duffel bag. The Old Man was a B 17 Radio operator/ waist gunner.
I have an undated Boyt that I picked up at a surplus store in the early 80's. It's still in beautiful condition. As far as I've seen these come in multiple flavors, 1911, Victory and M1917. Mine is for a 1911.
