    27 March 2025 Garand Picture of hte Day



    A Forceman cleans his M-1 rifle in a Bell tent on Amchitka. His knee-high shoepacs and the improvised boardwalk helped to traverse the soft muskeg of the island.

    My grand dad fought with the 77th Division and was wounded in the Argonne Forest. He didn't talk about it much but he did say it was pretty miserable.
