I have taken my first Lee Enfield Rifle which was a 303/25 sporter when I bought it 26 years ago, and done some modifications. The whole project is in it's early stages yet, but it is showing promise. On it's second brief outing (the bedding failed after six shots on the first trip) after eight rounds to get it near the bull at 100m (not bad, considering I had only bore sighted it after changing the barrel mid week) I put my last 6 rounds onto a fresh target. If you measure centre to centre, it is a six shot, 1 5/8" group. I am going to continue the project....
