    I found T. E. Lawrence's bayonet!

You've all seen the SMLE in the IWM that Faisal presented to Lawrence, right? Surely this has to be the bayonet that goes with that rifle! I don't know whether to try to remove the plating or leave it alone. Its ugliness sort of beggers the imagination.

i got fired from my first job at age 16 because of that movie.
as a movie usher i had to put up
    "lawrence of arabia"
    on the marquee.
    i didn't have enough plastic letters,so i abbreviated it.
i got fired because my manager didn't think

    "larry the arab"

    was cool.

Last year, Lawarence's rifle was removed from display for "work"
I wonder if they de-acted it? Given the current government, I wouldn't put it past them.

A WW1 Britishicon officer's single shot sniper rifle at the GUARDS museum had that done to it! Can you possibly imagine some yobbo breaking into the GUARDS museum to steal a rifle????

    Interesting find there!
