Ok, so I've been looking for awhile and I'm rather excited about my new purchase. It's my first milsurp rifle. While I can appreciate the value of collecting, I love to shoot as well, so this will be something different.

I'd love to hear comments about this rifle. Please let me know your thoughts. It's the rifle on the right in the first photo. I probably paid too much, but it's looks nice and collecting is a learning process that's fun in itself.

Here's what I've been told. It's a 1944 Lee Enfield Longbranch No. 4 Mk. I* with Walnut rear stock and beech forestock. Wood is marked Canadian Broad Arrow and LB32 markings on receiver, bolt, safety, mag, sight protector and forestock clamps. Barrel is a 5 groove left twist BSA manufactured in the mid 50's.

Any comments on value or resources for more info would be appreciated.

It's amazing to see all of these individual items from the 1940's, stamped with government ownership military "broad arrow" markings, including the individual cigarettes stamped "HM Forces".

This is the new (to me) MG34 I picked up from Marstar a couple weeks ago And yes, it's one of the ones that goes bang - not a dewat

I realize these snapshots are not all that great, but best I could do with indoor lighting on short notice

ok, another May purchase. Modelo 1889 Bodeo Italian Ordnance revolver in 10.4mm Italian. Made in 1894 at Glisenti in Brescia, so it's a CFC lettered antique

Anyone know where to get or how to form 10.4mm brass? Fiocci still makes the ammo, but being able to roll my own would be nice too.
