Are there any Enfield "slingologists" out there?

I just acquired this sling, which seems to be marked with a Canadian property mark, with a number below, and the maker's information:

S.S.H. Ltd. 1940
- the 0 might be an 8
- and the H might be an A

I know there was an S.S.A. Co. but this is clearly Ltd, not Co.

Does anyone have an idea of the manufacturer?
