    Loading a single round?

What is the best way to load a32 acp chamber insert in a MKIII? I don't want to break an ejector.

Exactly the same as e would insert a CHS gauge if you didn't want to snap a bit off the rim. Slide the sub cal carrier up UNDER the face of the bolt head and UNDER the extractor. Then slip it in.

I suppose as it's a low power cartridge you could just use an extractor-less slave bolthead for firing the sub-cal rounds off.......

Biggest killer of No4 and No1 extractor springs. Single shot feeding a round into the breech.

if you are going to use it long term remove the extractor. I make my inserts with a screwdriver slot at the rim of the sub chamber so a small screwdriver can be used for extraction of the fired case. this way the insert can stay in the chamber. its also quicker and easier to use

Is that an adaptor you purchased commercially, or one you made yourself? Either way it looks very handy!

its one I made. I copied a fired case to get the profile. I only made it because I had 500 rounds of 45acp reloads that were too hot for my pistol.
I had made one to fire 32-20 from a 303 but it vanished
