A friend has asked me for advice on repairing the wrist on his type 99. I believe the conventional method of opening the crack and cleaning/ gluing the crack and clamping will
work. I cannot find any info on original Japaneseicon armorer repairs. Was threaded rod used as with the SMLE? He wants a strong repair but the Kanji on the stock makes it to interesting to foul up with a non original appearing repair method. Any and all input appreciated.
