Saginaw Carbine

@USGI - I went over the front sight with a magnifying glass - looks like a faint "7" over the front retaining pin. I can't get a good image with the camera, so I am not 100% sure. There is an "N" by the sight post, however. All parts are prime, (S'G'), marked with the exception of the barrel band and bolt. Attached are the original bolt assembly which was polished by someone long before my time. All parts are marked S'G'. The last pic is the crack where the bolt spectacularly failed one day on the range.
Correct parts to bring this back to "All Original" are going to be expensive, but I welcome the challenge. On closer inspection, it almost looks like the S in Saginaw was struck over the I for Irwin Pedersen at the rear of the receiver? Interesting.
