Scopes on M1A1 ???

The sniper scope I was referring to were the M3 night vison scopes. Many stocks and handguards were modified for the mounting system. The experiment by Inland to mount a scope on a carbine was a failure. The scope was being banged by fired brass when ejected and was not long before it was damaged.
