M1C / M1D leather cheek pad (repro?)

First, I'm assuming the M1C and M1D cheek pads are the same. If they aren't, I'd much prefer the M1C, as that is the configuration that I built.

I have an extremely nice handmade repro leather cheek pad for my Swedish M41B clone that I did. I asked that gentleman if he did the Garand cheek pads, and he said he didn't because there are too many reproduction ones out there already.

Well, he's right. There are so many out there, I'm having difficulty finding one that's worth buying. I paid $150 for the extremely nice one on my Swede. With the Garand, I'm either seeing $20 ones that are absolute crap, or expensive ones but I can't really tell if they are good or just overpriced.

While my M1D rifles are authentic US Springfield builds (as far as I know), I built my M1C as a clone. Since I shoot my rifles, I thought I might as well build this one really nicely. I started with an original Kollmorgen scope and G&H rings. I got the repro mount and put it on a Springfield receiver of the correct serial number range. I installed a Kreiger barrel, and the best walnut stock they had when I toured the DuPage facility in Phoenix. So I want a really nice leather cheek pad to complete it.

Where is the best place to look? Thank you.
