    Depends on the range at which you zero and the type of sighting system- M16a1 or M16a2, plus some a1's have two small apertures, but some have one small and one HUGE- bigger even than the a2 variant. Also, carbine or rifle?

    The military zero also assumes the appropriate ammo for the platform- M193(early) or M855(current).
