This is the message I get upon trying to enter the chat room:

Malicious Behavior Detected! The page or file you requested contains malicious code.
    Transaction ID is 4B8CC69C062C540E17C0.

(some sort of "Java" logo appears first...)

    ........

I have no idea what that is ...

It's being generated from the chat system service provider's host computer in response to seeing something from your end that it doesn't like ...

They indicate that their client software works through firewalls and there should be no problems with members who operate behind them, but I'll open a trouble ticket with their support group and request a clarification.

    Thanks for the feedback ...

Edit: I received a quick response from technical support and I gather this is quite a common message received by end users who are behind a corporate business firewall. There's nothing to worry about and there is no malicious behavior, nor any code virus activity, but rather it's a "false positive". It seems to be a custom message from the client's (your end) company IT filtering system which restricts access to certain applications. It maybe worthwhile checking with your company IT department to see if their code of practice restricts access to applications etc - as this is most likely the issue here.

There was a suggestion that I change the Internet port being used from the current default port to 8080, which is the most common port used to access the internet. The thought is that this may help users behind work firewalls (providing they don't also have in place other restrictions as mentioned). I tried that and it didn't work for me and just froze up my browser. Can you see if there's a specific port number that your IT guys would let you use so we can try that to see if it helps your specific case, as we've had no other reports of problems during the last two months of testing. We're currently using 8007, so perhaps they can add that to your OK to use list.
