    Why don't you just call up Springfield Armory and tell them it broke, the M1Aicon has a lifetime warranty so they should send you a free replacement.

    BTW, the M means that the elevation adjustments are in meters instead of yards.

    Just got off the phone with SA. They are going to send a replacement for no charge. That's good customer service. Thanks for the heads up.
