Someone selling DP rifle as "Safe to Shoot"
http://www.auctionarms.com/search/di...emnum=10277632
I tried to do a good turn by emailing the seller that DP rifles should not be sold as shooters. His reply was: "Drill purpose rifles were just decommissioned rifle. Most DP rifles are safe to shoot, but all should checked by a gunsmith first. This rifle was checked by a licensed gunsmith and Is Safe To shoot. "
Oh well. Buyer Beware I guess. If anyone on these boards knows this seller, maybe they can talk some sense into him or send him a link.

Ask the seller if he will supply a signed declaration saying it is safe. Tell him you need it so your kids will be looked after if his rifle kills or maims you.
That should get a bite!

Should also be noted that he is asking a premium price for a mixmaster that is missing parts. What a nut....
