By the way, original question was how to spot a fake? The markings are very different on the fakes. They're available for viewing on Ebay and they come out of China I think. The scabbards are different and the whole thing doesn't compare to the originals. The finish doesn't look close to correct either. Like a poor blue and then stove paint over top.
