    hi, owned 322 for approx 15 years would be nice to know if any records exist on it.

    I'm guessing that you purchased No322 at Auction in 1998
    Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

    Many thanks, nice to know where it started, it's a bit different to the normal spec, it's fitted with a forend similar to a Parker Hale T4, but professionally numbered 322 + the barrel is heavier with no provision for a front sight, all this is at least 15 years old, until my research on the web I assumed they all looked like mine! All the usual parts are numbered 322,the no. on the reciever is the flat type, no millings, the scope is 289. It was purchased from a RFD in South Wales he is also a Sporting Gun Auctioneer.

    Any more info or photos I'll be happy to supply

    Rifle H34946 was part of batch number 21 which consisted of 20 weapons and has a recorded conversion date of 10th August 1971 following conversion it was despatched to store at Donnington.
