    There is a pouch on this stock, and an M-8 on the barrel.

    Remember, they started using colour in 1939. But I can't say where it's from exactly. Anyway, there's the pic from the front cover of Craig Riesch's book. The other one with the DP/M machine gun would be Korea I think. Beside the point, it shows what was asked...

    There are plenty of pics from WW2 with mag pouches on the carbines. The one JimF4M1sicon looks Korean. The one BAR posted is from Saving Private Ryan.

    I looked at the Korean pic again. There is a BAR on the ground in the backround, 2 rifle grenades in his pocket, looks like a cabine pouch on his belt and notice the strange sling on his carbine, that's adapting.
