    Jim, I see what you mean. Assuming this rifle is also a dewat (he hasn't answered that question that I'm aware of), would it hurt to file or grind the op rod lugs ( catch point) so they will hold the bolt open fully? Just seems awfully expensive to obtain a better op rod for a display type rifle, I feel he wants it to at least function which is why he sought assistance.
