    1942 Finnish M39

One of my "List" rifles, I've been waiting for this auction for two months. It's not perfect, has a few dings in the stock but overall in near new condition. Wartime manufacture based on the barrel manufacturer, date and stock finger joints and stain.

Receiver was scrubbed by the Finns so not "antique". Bolt and other parts have some old arsenal marks.

Probably paid more than I should have but it was my maximum going into the auction so I at least did not go over that. I've wanted one of these for a while and wasn't going to let this one go if at all feasible.

Not sure if the bis "S" on the receiver designates this was a Civil Guard rifle or not or if it was in it's previous life as a 91/30

The trigger on this is by far the smoothest of any Nagant I own. Very nice.
