I have chosen not to change a thing, as it is exactly as it would have been if sent into Korea...after in was referbed between 47-58 I don't think it ever left RIA...so I agree, im not changing a thing thanks... is the sn# 42,42, or 44? I thought it was 1942...

From WB III, "The Inlander" an in house periodical shows SN 500,000 was delivered July 15, 1943. Your 438,770 a month or two before?

I just got my 6 digit Inland 1950ish rebuild in nearly identical condition (no papers or rebuild stamps on stock) for what would have been $750 (was asking $850), The magazines and pouches another couple hundred, and $50 or $60 on the bayonet. Sling and oiler (if D tip) another $40. The papers coupled with the RIA rebuild stamp adds another $100 to $200 in my mind. Total in the $1100 (easily) to $1300 (to right buyer). Just my hunch.
