    It just looked so crude! But I have to admit that I never even dreamed of trying it against anything relatively modern! But it does well illustrate the point that whatever you use, you can only kill a man so dead! Thanks for that Unprofor and Bar, you've answered my long unanswered querie too!

    Most people don't and that's why they are often sold as Germanicon WW1 ersatz bayonets. Some unscrupulous sellers even remove the back ring on the grip so it will look like a WW1 bayonet even more.
