L1A1 BFA troubles

Sorry guys I've been tied up for the week. I'm not sure how the prototype locked, it doesn't appear to have a 'locking' position. It might of just been a simple twist on, and would be why it never went further. I have a machinist friend that could make one for me, if he ever finds the time to do it.

I would do that too...to fill an impossible hole in a collection. Maybe you could even test it to see how well it runs...?
