There's only one way that you can get CHS like that and that's by taking metal off the tenon - that's the threaded part of the bolt head.
Thank you Peter,

I have discussed with Brian sending the rifle and bolt to BDLicon for inspection.

I also got a new bolt head and bolt body from Numrich. Still waiting for a new striker. This is just to be able to have parts on hand if some of the originals are deemed non-usable.

The new Bolt Head has a smaller firing pin opening, and a longer tenon. The firing pin protrudes only about half of the amount it does using the original bolt head. I also get cocking piece lift using the new bolt head with the striker fully screwed into it. However, the bolt head currently doesn't turn in all the way to align with the long lug on the bold body. I assume it is better to remove material from the bolt body face to allow the bolt head to turn in to align.
