Man this is one of the only Marine items I'm missing from my collection. I want a documented Marine M1C rifle. I have the Kollmorgen scope and mount, but it's on a 1999 CMPicon M1C rifle. I keep on hoping that I will run across the serials of the Marine M1C's in the archives, but so far I haven't. They got them pretty late and the Archives basically stops when they first started to come in. Hopefully someday though those documents will be released for public view. I would love to figure out that equation.

I hear you though on not shooting them. I have a real 1903 Unertl Sniper and people make fun of me all the time for not shooting it. But all it takes is one faulty round and it's gone.
