    It's a rebuilt mixmaster, $650 a fair price?

    I think so, their starting around here at $900 -$1000 at gun shows, and they are the org. mixmaster. you did good imo.

    More Photos of the carbine, I was finally able to make a deal on it this weekend and brought it home. I was surprised about some of the markings such as the flaming bomb on the bolt and the S"G" on the receiver. The barrel is dated 5/44 and appears to be original to the receiver. The date is a light stamp and does not photograph well. The trigger housing is marked ST (I think) and the hammer is marked HI. I think the photos tell the rest of the story.
    I am very interested to hear any comments.
