Exactly Jim...You have brought up some very good points as well as others memebers have also posted. Those Auctions houses like Rock Island just describe the item. A lot of people unfortunately go by the Item and Story on GB and GI among other's. Who's knows maybe they tried but was rejected. Rock Island Auctions do have High Standards and they do refuse to Accept Firearms to Auction off if they dont meet there Criteria. I just wonder why the owner of this Carbine won't cleaned it to show it with the Crate and the paperwork as part of it. I think that would make a difference.
