Going Rate For Un-Quality M1

Hi Everyone,

Just joined as I am searching for information on some M1 Carbines I have been contemplating.

What do you guys feel the current market is for an UN-Quality? A buddy of mine has one for sale (among several other carbines) but I am having a hard time gauging what they go for.

I'm also curious if anyone can help me understand the scenario in which the finish difference between the barrel and receiver on this Winchester would have occurred; just looks kind of odd.
