I take it the rifle on the back of the tank is supposed to be the M1? Looks like a 1903 rifle...but for sure there are some back behind the turret.

Yes it was a toss up in my view for a M1 Picture - Could be an 03A3 with a grenade launcher - there were some long rifles on the second tank
